1. Leading the first launch: large-diameter rock strata set a jacking record!

How did the XCMG pipe jacking machine, tasked with the important first launch, achieve a strong start?

The main construction machine, the XCMG XDN2400-R pipe jacking machine, has a main drive motor frequency of 100 Hz, a wide speed regulation range, and high torque and high speed at the same power. The rock, flat-panel, and earth pressure series all adopt multi-cutterhead designs and large-diameter multi-circuit slurry circulation systems to meet the requirements of more strata and achieve multiple uses in one machine.

No intermediate jacking station was used during a single jacking run, with daily advance of about 20 meters, breaking XCMG's construction record for medium-to-long distance jacking with large-diameter rock pipe jacking machines. Through the optional remote monitoring system, the user can grasp the construction conditions in real time on a mobile phone and highly recognizes the jacking capability of the XCMG pipe jacking machine.

2. Construction at home and abroad: fully tempered, proven by data!

The XCMG XDN2400-R pipe jacking machine, when facing complex strata dominated by moderately weathered rock, averaged one pipe (2 meters per pipe) every 30 minutes. These solid results also earned high praise from the project owner. To date, a cumulative construction length of 969 m has been completed.

In the Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project, long-distance construction in hard rock: the XCMG XDN1500-R pipe jacking machine helped the third section of the Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project successfully break through on January 30, having successively completed 480 m, 254 m, and 425 m lengths. During the 425 m construction process, local rock hardness exceeded 100 MPa, and the XCMG pipe jacking machine achieved a daily advance of 15 m, enabling the successful breakthrough of this section, with a cumulative construction distance of more than 1 km.

In Tanzania, East Africa, crossing highways: in a tap water supply project, the XCMG XDN400HL successfully completed nearly 30 pipe jacking sections crossing highways, with a total length of 700 meters completed in 3 months, 4 months ahead of the expected schedule. This pipe jacking project was the first of its kind in Tanzania, filling a gap in the field of pipe jacking construction in East Africa.

In an Indonesian government project, 4 XCMG pipe jacking machines were introduced in the early stage and worked together in construction, jacking a total of about 2 km over a cumulative 6-month construction period. After good market feedback, the customer purchased 3 more pipe jacking machines to support national infrastructure projects.
