On January 28, Wang Tongjun, Deputy General Manager of China Railway Group, and his delegation visited the advance-section project department of the Tianjin-Weifang High-Speed Railway undertaken by China Railway 14th Bureau Group, and extended Chinese New Year greetings to on-site construction workers. Zhang Yinglong, Party Secretary and General Manager of Xiong'an High-Speed Railway Co., Ltd., participated in the inspection. Zhou Changjin, General Manager of China Railway 14th Bureau Group, and Li Fangdong, Deputy General Manager, accompanied the inspection.

At the construction site, Wang Tongjun listened to reports on the project overview and progress, and learned about the "industrialized" park of the Jinggu Haihe River Tunnel section, the project's information-based management, and the intelligent control of shield tunneling that empowers site construction. He visited the first intelligent centralized steel reinforcement processing plant on the entire Tianjin-Weifang High-Speed Railway line to inspect construction conditions, and extended Chinese New Year greetings and blessings to the staff of China Railway 14th Bureau Group. Wang Tongjun stated that project safety and quality control must be well managed, and the application of intelligent upgrades in engineering construction should be further advanced. At the same time, based on project characteristics, efforts should be made to explore research into the direction of factory-based, large-scale, and industrialized production of regional precast products, so as to achieve efficient integration and utilization of resources. He expressed the hope that China Railway 14th Bureau Group would leverage its advantages in the large-diameter shield tunneling industry, summarize advanced construction experience, and focus on applying new technologies and new achievements to projects under construction. Relevant units should pay attention to and study the promotion and application of BIM design results, strengthen cooperation, and inject technological strength into on-site construction.

On behalf of China Railway 14th Bureau Group, Zhou Changjin stated that the company would summarize and make good use of its experience and achievements in the specialization, standardization, and informationization of large-diameter shield tunneling construction management, continuously improve project management standards, and ensure the delivery of quality projects, the setting of benchmarks, safety assurance, benefit creation, brand building, and talent cultivation. The company would strive to sprint from the moment of commencement and lead from the starting line, contributing to the high-quality construction of the Tianjin-Weifang Railway project.
