1. Actively responding to the complex economic situation, seeking progress while maintaining stability

Innovating business management, the scale and sales growth of "two drills and one machine" exceeded the industry average; roadheaders and coal mining machinery became new growth supports; the market share of drilling and extraction products and mining/tunneling rock drilling jumbos increased to varying degrees year on year. With a forward-looking layout in the remanufacturing business, a remanufacturing center was established, and the three remanufacturing bases in Xuzhou, Chongqing, and Guangzhou are fully leveraging their strengths.

2. Accelerating the pace of going global, developing adaptive products to explore new international markets

Continuously improving the dedicated product spectrum for overseas hotspot regions, placing greater emphasis on equipment cost-effectiveness and adaptability to multiple strata. With the precisely positioned I-series rotary drilling rigs, consecutive batch orders worth over 200 million yuan were shipped to Southeast Asia. Demand in the overseas mining and tunneling product market continues to rise, and exports of roadheaders achieved new breakthroughs, with a batch export worth 100 million yuan for an overseas potash mine project.

3. Building a new base featuring "high-end, intelligent, green, service-oriented, and international" development

The new intelligent manufacturing base for XCMG Foundation Engineering Machinery, with an investment of 5 billion yuan and covering 1,663 mu, is lined with factory buildings, and a modern super factory has taken initial shape. In June, the dispatch workshop and finished goods warehouse were put into use first, and in November, the relocation of piling machinery products began in succession.

4. City leaders show concern, visiting XCMG Foundation several times

Song Lewei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, led teams twice to the construction site of the XCMG Foundation Engineering Machinery Intelligent Manufacturing Base in Jiawang for on-site inspection and observation, gaining a detailed understanding of project construction progress and enterprise operations. During a summer health "four deliveries" visit and condolence activity, he also went deep into the production frontline of the old XCMG Foundation factory area in Jinshanqiao, warmly visiting and expressing sympathy to employees who stayed at their posts in high temperatures.

5. Innovation-driven development yields fruitful scientific and technological achievements

The world's largest rotary drilling rig XR1600E was released and delivered; XCMG's first oil-electric hybrid truck-mounted deep well drilling rig XSC30/1300 was delivered to a customer; the "Key Technology Research and Industrialization Project of a Series of High-Performance Rock Drills" was selected as a provincial key core technology (equipment) research project and received 30 million yuan in government funding; the XCMG directional drilling project won the second prize of the 2022 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award... Multiple new products and scientific and technological achievements demonstrate the company's technical strength.

6. Business Division products lay a solid foundation for super projects

XCMG large-tonnage rotary drilling rig fleets worked intensively on the world's first double-deck cable-stayed suspension cooperative system bridge—the G3 Tongling Yangtze River Highway-Railway Bridge; XCMG horizontal directional drilling rigs, in the Hutuo River crossing of the China-Russia East Route natural gas pipeline, with a depth of 37 m and a length of 1,757 m, set a new domestic record for the directional drilling crossing length of 1,219 mm large-diameter pipelines; XCMG XCM80 dual-wheel mixer was successfully applied in the ultra-deep mixing wall at Pudong Airport, and this process method and industry standard have been popularized and promoted nationwide; the XDN2000-S pipe jacking machine achieved a successful 2.4-meter-diameter, 1,187.5-meter ultra-long-distance breakthrough in the Yangtze-to-Huaihe River Water Diversion Project, a first in China... Super projects call for super equipment, and super equipment empowers super projects.

7. Solidly advancing various types of talent cultivation

Carrying out all-staff on-the-job training in business, skills, work style, and contribution, with 100% employee coverage. XCMG Foundation's "Human Resource Management of Large Equipment Manufacturing Enterprises Based on Intelligent Transformation and Digitalization and Scale Expansion" won the first prize of the 29th Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievement. Technical expert Sun Yu was named a Xuzhou Model Worker and one of the Top Ten Outstanding Youths; skilled talent Chen Zeng was respectively named Xuzhou Enterprise Chief Technician and awarded the Jiangsu Provincial May 1 Labor Medal; the Yang Changjian Skill Master Studio was named a Jiangsu Provincial Skill Master Studio.

8. Honors highlight the company's hard-core strength

The company successively won national-level honors such as "2022 National Quality Benchmark," "National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise," and "Outstanding Enterprise of China Coal Machinery Industry." It was once again re-evaluated as a demonstration enterprise of a manufacturing single champion. It was selected into the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology's "List of Enterprises Proposed for Inclusion in the New Round of Innovative Leading Enterprise Cultivation Action." XCMG XR series rotary drilling rigs won the honorary title of "Jiangsu Boutique." Roadheaders, rotary drilling rigs, and overseas employees made a blockbuster appearance on CCTV high-end media.

9. Party building and ideological and political work deeply integrated into enterprise operations

XCMG Foundation consolidated the foundation of Party building and enhanced organizational strength by improving work standards and building a composite political work team. It enhanced combat effectiveness through the demonstration and leadership of Party member pioneer teams such as the pipe jacking machine construction team and the core drilling rig support team. It promoted the integration of Party building and operations through Party building innovation projects such as "Talent Efficiency Improvement," "Escorting the Northward Advancement," and "Supervising and Preventing Operational Risks," enhancing innovation capacity.

10. The intrinsic health project yields abundant results

XCMG Foundation carried out a special action to "improve employee behavioral literacy," strengthening internal quality and shaping external image through activities of "promoting civility and building image, promoting hygiene and building habits, promoting order and building rules, and promoting thrift and building virtue."
