IV. Project Overview:

The Wuhan to Chongqing Expressway Suiyue Expressway to Shayang Section (Tianmen West Section) (also known as the "Wuhan-Tianmen-Yichang Expressway Suiyue Expressway to Shayang Section (Tianmen West Section)") is planned to start near Qiwutai north of the Yuekou Industrial Park in Tianmen City, connecting with the Suiyue Expressway and linking to the Hanchuan to Tianmen Section of the Wuhan to Chongqing Expressway, with a starting chainage of K0+000. It runs westward through Wangchang South, Jiangchang North, Jianghu North, and Duobao North, and finally ends at the boundary between Tianmen and Jingmen, connecting with the Tianmen-Jingmen Boundary to Erguang Expressway Section of the Wuhan to Chongqing Expressway, with an ending chainage of K46+790. The route has a total length of 46.790 km, entirely within Tianmen City. It includes 32 bridges totaling 32,830 m, 1 hub interchange, 4 general interchanges, 1 service area, and 4 ramp toll stations. Among these are 8 controlled bridges with continuous lengths of over 1,000 m (excluding extra-large bridges with main spans over 150 m), including the Tianmen South Grand Bridge, Daiwan Grand Bridge, Yangdian Grand Bridge, Gudi Grand Bridge, Jiangchang Grand Bridge, Chaikou Grand Bridge, Shuangqiao Grand Bridge, and Hanbei River Grand Bridge (main span 120 m continuous rigid frame). The project is proposed to adopt the standard of a two-way six-lane expressway with a design speed of 120 km/h and a subgrade width of 34.0 m.

V. Planned Construction Period: 1,080 calendar days; planned commencement date: June 30, 2023

VI. Obtaining of Bidding Documents:

All prospective bidders (in the case of a consortium bid, all members of the consortium) who intend to participate in the bidding shall register on the Hubei Provincial Electronic Bidding and Tendering Trading Platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Electronic Trading Platform", the same below) (website: www.hbbidcloud.cn) and apply for a CA digital certificate (for specific procedures, see "Electronic Trading Platform"—Service Guide—Trading Entity Registration Guide).

After completing registration, please, from January 4, 2023 to 24:00 on January 8, 2023 (Beijing time, the same below), log in to the "Electronic Trading Platform" via the Internet using the CA digital certificate and download the bidding documents free of charge for the section to be bid. For consortium bids, the leading member of the consortium shall download the bidding documents (for specific procedures, see "Electronic Trading Platform"—Service Guide—Bidding (Qualification Review) Document Download Guide). If the bidding documents are not downloaded from the "Electronic Trading Platform" in accordance with the regulations, the tenderee (the "Electronic Trading Platform") shall reject the bid documents.
