XCMG Foundation employees gathered at Foundation Avenue

to raise the national flag and welcome New Year's Day

With high spirits and determination

they bid farewell to the land where they have strived for 13 years

and set sail toward a hopeful new journey northward

Accompanied by the first ray of morning sunlight, employee representatives sang the national anthem and stood at attention as the bright five-star red flag rose slowly. This was XCMG Foundation's thirteenth flag-raising to welcome the New Year. Over the past thirteen years, all Foundation employees, guided by the red flag, have made the company a leading enterprise in the foundation engineering machinery industry and one of XCMG's five traditional pillar industries.

Every Foundation employee strives diligently and braves obstacles on their own track, continuously turning blueprints into beautiful realities and aspirations into reality!

Kong Qinghua, General Manager and Party Secretary of XCMG Foundation, delivered an inspiring New Year address, pointing out that the greatness of a cause lies not only in the grandeur of its goals but also in the magnificence of its process; the beauty of life lies not only in the richness one enjoys but also in the richness of one's experiences.

Mr. Kong set the direction for the key work in 2023 and called on Party members, cadres and all types of personnel:

If you are a Party member or cadre busy at your post, you should remain true to your original aspiration, charge to the forefront in the arduous task of moving north, fight first in the face of difficulties and obstacles, and convey confidence and faith through practical actions.

If you are a worker laboring on the production frontline, you should take model workers as examples, pursue your dreams through hard work, master your trade and excel in it, develop genuine skills and good techniques, and strive to become a great craftsman of the new era through outstanding labor and creation. If you are a marketing or service person battling in the tide of the market, you should travel the world with courage, always revere contracts and credit, dare to venture and try in the market, brave the currents, and realize your value and contribute to the company through development. If you are a researcher immersed in innovation and tackling key problems, you should keep in mind the heavy trust of "strengthening the enterprise through science and technology," actively devote yourself to the main battlefield of independent innovation, aim at key fields and "bottleneck" areas, concentrate on research and exploration, and bravely scale new heights of science and technology. If you are a young employee who has just graduated and joined XCMG Foundation, you should cherish XCMG's platform and Foundation's opportunities, learn from those around you, learn from difficulties, seek true knowledge and develop genuine skills in work practice, and carry the baton of foundation construction into the next stage.
Wind and rain are normal, staying undaunted by wind and rain is a mindset, and pressing on through wind and rain is a state. No matter what storms come, nothing can stop all Foundation employees' determination to march toward a brand-new journey and their steps toward a better life. We will create achievements in the future that are more worthy of pride than those of the past.

Mr. Kong's exciting speech injected inexhaustible spiritual motivation into all employees, and the "New Year Welcome Set Meal" carefully prepared by the staff canteen also stored up energy for all employees to roll up their sleeves and work hard with full vigor.

Steaming meat buns and vegetable buns stuffed full, meat sandwiches with a mix of fat and lean, jujube cakes overflowing with date fragrance, crispy and delicious fried dough sticks, fresh, spicy and savory hot pepper soup, vermicelli soup loaded with large slices of beef, nutritious and delicious fried pancake with hen soup... Deliciousness and satisfaction were shown on every Foundation employee's smiling face.
