On December 7, Wang Zizhong, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, led the Economic Management Center, the Safety Supervision and Management Department, and the Production Management Center to inspect the Jingning Expressway Project.

Wang Zizhong listened to a detailed report by the project manager on the project's production progress, materials, land acquisition and relocation, and other matters. Based on the on-site inspection, Wang Zizhong put forward requirements regarding the existing problems.

Wang Zizhong pointed out the following: First, there must be no leniency on safety. The project department must strictly fulfill the "dual responsibilities for one post" duty, strengthen safety operation control, and raise safety awareness. Second, do a good job in increasing revenue and reducing expenditure and in cost control. The project department must shoulder its responsibilities bravely, strengthen whole-process cost management during implementation, conduct periodic cost analysis, identify problems and deviations in a timely manner, and at the same time implement responsibilities, so as to maximize project benefits on the premise of ensuring project quality, progress, safety, environmental protection, and civilized construction. Third, face up to problems, identify where the problems lie, find solutions, discuss them one by one, and rectify and implement them one by one in place. Fourth, unify thinking and direction, make the best use of people and materials, carry out refined management, reduce costs and increase efficiency, and fully unleash the huge potential in project construction.

The project manager said that the chairman's field inspection was a "diagnosis" of the Jingning Expressway Project, identifying key problems and examining key links, key technologies, and key personnel, and clarifying development ideas for the project's later construction. In subsequent work, the project department will earnestly implement the company's work requirements on cost control, safety and quality management, and other aspects, strengthen management, implement responsibilities, and maximize the project's economic benefits.
