At the construction site of the Xinglian Road river-crossing passage in the north of Changsha, Zoomlion pump trucks, mixer trucks, tower cranes, crawler cranes, rotary drilling rigs and other equipment are racing against time to meet deadlines and accelerate progress. The project, 5.475 kilometers long, is Hunan's largest single river-crossing bridge and currently Changsha's widest bridge deck, largest single span and longest river-crossing bridge. Designed with eight lanes in both directions, it is expected to be completed and put into use in 2024, which will effectively ease traffic pressure across the river and become one of the important passages for cities such as Yiyang, Changde and Zhangjiajie to enter Changsha.

Several Zoomlion ZR280C-2 rotary drilling rigs are assisting construction on site, with pile diameters of 800-1500 mm and depths of 32 meters, involving drilling into rock, with some pile holes penetrating 3-4 meters into rock at a hardness of about 40 MPa. They use pick-tooth sand-grabbing buckets. Almost all construction on the entire bridge is carried out with Zoomlion equipment, and most customers come from alliance customer equipment leasing. Since construction began last September, the equipment has been consistently well received: "Zoomlion rotary drilling rigs have always been steady, fast at drilling soil, and low in fuel consumption!"
