Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Federation of Industrial Economics released the "List of the Seventh Batch of National Manufacturing Single Champion Demonstration Enterprises and Products," and the rotary drilling rig independently developed by Sunward was named a National Manufacturing Single Champion Product.

The Manufacturing Single Champion Product selection aims to guide manufacturing enterprises to focus on innovation and quality improvement, establish leading single champion positions in more segmented product fields, enhance the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry, and cultivate world-class enterprises with global competitiveness, thereby providing strong support for promoting high-quality development and building a new development pattern.

This is another Sunward product to make the list. It is reported that Sunward's hydraulic static pile press was previously honored as a fourth-batch single champion product. The renewed recognition of the rotary drilling rig further demonstrates Sunward's strength in the field of underground engineering equipment.

Sunward has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the research, development, and manufacture of rotary drilling rigs. In 2001, Sunward began developing its first SWDM20 rotary drilling rig, featuring self-manufactured telescopic chassis technology. At the same time, in combination with the 863 Program project "R&D and Industrialization of Computer-Controlled High-Performance Rotary Drilling Rigs," it independently developed a CAN bus-based electronic control system for rotary drilling rigs, filling a domestic gap. After 2003, the R&D team carried out extensive iterative upgrades, and high-quality products emerged continuously, such as the star products SWDM160H, SWDM300H, and SWDM360H. In 2017, Sunward developed the world's largest walking-type rotary drilling rig, the SWDM600W, and conducted in-depth and systematic research on construction technology and application for super-large-diameter deep-hole pile foundations. This year, Sunward's super-large-tonnage rotary drilling rig SWDM1280 successfully rolled off the production line, with key technical parameters setting world records.

Up to now, Sunward's rotary drilling rig product range has covered models from SWDM40 to SWDM1280. With a complete product portfolio, it can meet various working conditions such as construction in unweathered rock formations, low-headroom construction, construction in high-latitude and severe cold regions, and offshore construction. Sunward green rotary drilling rigs can be seen at national key projects such as the Yanji Yangtze River Bridge, the Macau-Taipa Sea Crossing Bridge, and the Sichuan-Tibet Railway. At the same time, Sunward's market share in rotary drilling rigs has entered China's first tier.
