At 16:55 on November 14, the last diaphragm wall panel of the GLX01 section diaphragm wall works of the Wuxi Gaolang West Road (Lihu Avenue–Yuanxi Road) Expressway Reconstruction Project, undertaken by Qiancheng Pile Engineering, was successfully lifted, marking the successful completion of the diaphragm wall construction portion of the project.

Representatives of the owner and the supervision unit, along with Tian Chuanhai, Project Manager of the Gaolang West Road project of the general contractor China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group, and Xu Qingzhong, Executive Deputy Project Manager, were present to offer congratulations. Wang Yanhai, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Company's Underground Space Business Division and Commander of the Nanjing Engineering Command, together with all members of the Gaolang West Road project team, jointly witnessed this important moment.

From receipt of the letter of acceptance from China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group on May 28 to completion of all pre-construction preparations on June 10 — in only 13 days — the project was launched on schedule, demonstrating the "ready to fight and sure to win" Qiancheng speed, which won high praise from the general contractor's leadership. Since commencement, under the leadership of Project Manager Hu Pinsheng, the Qiancheng Pile Engineering project team has worked with one heart and overcome difficulties: on the one hand, fully utilizing existing construction conditions to accelerate progress; on the other, actively communicating with the general contractor on utility relocation and subsequent work-face arrangements, making advance preparations for the next stage of construction in order to minimize the project duration, improve efficiency, ensure construction progress, and make every effort to guarantee the orderly progress of the project — earning high recognition and strong support from the general contractor. At the "Three Bests and One Star" commendation meeting organized by the general contractor in June, the project team was named "Best Team," and Ye Wanchu, the project chief engineer, was named "Best Team Leader."

To ensure the schedule target, under the strong support and close guidance of the owner, general contractor, and supervision unit, and with the care and concern of company leaders, all team members fixed their eyes on the goal and united as one. The leadership organized meticulously and laid out comprehensive plans; on site, work continued around the clock with machines never stopping to race against the schedule. Overcoming numerous difficulties such as dense utilities, extreme heat, and the impact of the pandemic, they successfully completed the construction task on schedule, delivering an excellent performance report to the general contractor. At the completion ceremony, Wang Yanhai congratulated the team on the successful completion of the main works and expressed gratitude for the sweat and effort the project team devoted throughout the project. He pointed out that the successful completion of this project has made a good start for the company in further developing the Wuxi market and deepening its presence in the East China regional market, created a representative project, and laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation with China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group Second Company, a high-quality partner. He asked the project team to continue to maintain and carry forward the fine style of work demonstrated during construction, meticulously complete the follow-up finishing work, and bring the project to a successful conclusion.
