8月16日凌晨一点二十分，经过近9个多小时的连续浇筑，六横公路大桥一期工程梅山侧最后一根钻孔灌注桩顺利浇筑完成，六横公路大桥一期工程梅山侧施工取得阶段性成果。
据了解，梅山侧工区涉及梅山水道桥、梅山水道跨堤桥、梅山高架桥、梅山主线桥、梅山B/C匝道桥共6座桥梁，桩基共计315根，占标段桩基设计总量的32%。
其中涉及水上施工作业的区域采用回旋钻机施工，共计桩基60根，陆地区域采用旋挖钻机施工，共计桩基255根。
宁波舟山港六横公路大桥项目总长29.6公里，概算总投资176.5亿元，设计时速100公里/小时。
分两期实施，其中一期工程起于梅山，跨越梅山水道后经春晓街道，终点在柴桥接规划杭甬高速复线及穿山疏港高速公路，为双向六车道。
全线布设特大桥2座，大桥5座，隧道2座，互通立交3处（梅山互通、昆亭枢纽、柴桥枢纽），匝道收费站1处以及相应的服务设施。
