Salute the Great Craftsmen

On May 1st, Labor Day, one of the key events of the 2022 "Good Workers · Toward the Future" Hunan Provincial Workers' Photography Competition—the themed creative achievement release of "You Are the Most Important · Salute the Great Craftsmen"—was officially unveiled. Four craftsman representatives from Sunward made an appearance, fully showcasing the unique charm of Sunward craftsmen.

This event was jointly planned, organized, and implemented by the Hunan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Hunan Photographers Association, and Golden Light Culture Co., Ltd., the producer of the TV drama "Top Priority." Honoring "work" and saluting the most beautiful laborers of the new era; forging a drama with craftsmanship and telling the good story of China's heavy industry.

△ Zhang Daqing, Ph.D. and Professor-level Senior Engineer at the Sunward Special Equipment Research Institute, has long been engaged in the R&D and industrialization of intelligent and energy-saving technologies for advanced manufacturing equipment, with in-depth exploration particularly in the fields of high-mobility off-road unmanned platforms and excavator energy-saving technologies.

△ Hao Peng, Ph.D., Senior Engineer, and National Model Worker at the Sunward Excavator Research Institute, a "Mud Doctor" devoted to construction machinery. He and his team have repeatedly won company awards for Innovation Pacesetter, Innovative Project, and Innovative Team, participated in a total of 5 national and provincial-level projects, applied for more than 20 patents, and published more than 20 papers.

△ Liu Chuang, a welding engineer at Sunward and the "vanguard" of the boom team. For more than ten years, the products he has welded and the teams he has led have maintained zero quality accidents and zero safety accidents. He also emphasizes process reform, having improved 167 processes in the past three years.

△ Chen Dong, a robot engineer and team leader at Sunward. His main work is programming and debugging new welding robot models, adjusting welding parameters, and monitoring welding quality. He has raised the robotic welding rate of booms and sticks from 90% to over 95%, greatly reducing the company's labor costs.
