2月22日，中国驻瑞典大使馆崔爱民大使会见沃尔沃集团总裁兼首席执行官龙世德，就沃尔沃集团在华合作发展情况交换看法。沃尔沃集团副首席执行官顾润德，使馆经商参赞韩晓东等参加。
龙世德表示，沃尔沃集团十分重视中国市场，已在华建立起生产、销售、研发、采购全体系产业链，目前正计划在山西太原独资建立重卡生产基地，愿为中国经济特别是物流领域快速发展提供安全、智能、前沿解决方案。
崔大使表示，当前中国经济发展已进入提质增效转型发展新阶段。随着道路基础设施、物流运输业迅速发展和不断完善，重卡市场需求大幅攀升，为沃尔沃集团在华业务发展提供了广阔空间。中方欢迎沃尔沃集团在华投资建厂，期待项目早日顺利获批，为中国交通、物流行业智能化、电气化、数字化和绿色可持续发展注入新动能，进一步推动中瑞经贸领域务实合作。大使馆愿为沃尔沃集团在华业务发展提供必要协助。
