On the morning of February 8, Zhang Qinghong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, and his delegation visited Sunward to investigate the company's operating conditions, listen to its opinions, and support its high-quality development. Zhang Qinghong and his delegation were briefed on the construction and operation of Phase III of the Sunward Industrial City project. Phase III is the first digital intelligent industrial park built by Sunward. It will not only enable data interconnection among production equipment, but also achieve human-machine collaboration among employees, machines, materials, and processes, as well as data integration across R&D, design, orders, production, energy, and operations. In terms of production line construction, a large number of automated equipment will be adopted, which can not only meet batch production needs but also effectively enhance the level of intelligent manufacturing. Once the Phase III project is completed, Sunward's manufacturing level will rank among the world's best.

He Qinghua explained that Sunward's intelligent manufacturing will, on the basis of vigorously advancing lean production, solidly carry out iterative accumulation in the three areas of "dataization, informatization, and intelligentization," ultimately achieving the ultimate goal of "profitability." In this process, Sunward will completely abandon the tendency of "informatization for the sake of informatization and intelligentization for the sake of intelligentization."

Zhang Qinghong expressed appreciation for Sunward's pragmatic work philosophy. Zhang Qinghong pointed out that blindly pursuing scale in production is not advisable; enterprises should instead work harder on product quality, because only unique products can maintain lasting advantages in global competition. He encouraged Sunward to continue maintaining its technological leadership, build up its technology reserves, and produce more premium products. The cliff-like market decline since the second half of last year has brought enormous operating pressure to the construction machinery industry.
