2021 Annual Work Summary and Commendation Conference

Year after year, reunion after reunion‍

On January 17, 2022, CABR Foundation Company held its 2021 Annual Work Summary and Commendation Conference. The meeting was chaired by Wu Chunqiu, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission.

Chairman Gao Wensheng delivered the 2021 annual work report. The report comprehensively summarized the company's completion of key work in 2021, including production and operations, deepening reform, corporate governance, risk prevention and control, scientific and technological innovation, and Party building. It pointed out shortcomings in the company's operations and problems facing its development, and outlined key tasks for 2022. Chairman Gao Wensheng emphasized that, given the current situation, the following six areas of work must be prioritized in 2022:

★ Actively and steadily advance mixed-ownership reform to stimulate vitality

★ Deepen the adjustment of the business management and control model

★ Enhance the company headquarters' market development capability

★ Benchmark against first-class management to improve and shore up weaknesses

★ Accelerate market-oriented scientific and technological R&D

★ Use Party building to drive business and promote integrated development‍

Chief Engineer Yang Shenggui read out the decisions to commend the 2021 advanced collectives, outstanding business managers, advanced workers, outstanding scientific and technological workers, advanced individuals in work safety, outstanding young employees, and outstanding Party members (a total of 44 individuals and 4 collectives were commended), presided over the award ceremony, and called on all employees of the company to learn from the advanced, forge ahead with determination, act diligently without slackening, and contribute to the company's high-quality development.

Yin Bo, Vice General Manager of China Academy of Building Research, congratulated the commended individuals and collectives and put forward three clear requirements for the company's work in 2022: first, stay true to the original aspiration and carefully summarize the company's development experience; second, strengthen confidence and deeply understand the situation facing the company's development; third, uphold craftsmanship and fully embark on a new journey of company development. He pointed out that in 2022 the company's operations should closely follow national strategies such as "dual carbon" and "common prosperity," look beyond traditional fields to new energy, infrastructure, rural construction and other areas, and that business layout should closely track the national strategy for the development of six major regions and make the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area branch a solid operation. Mr. Yin emphasized that, standing at the new starting point of the 20th anniversary of the founding of CABR Foundation Company, all employees should enhance their political awareness, overall-situation awareness, market awareness, innovation awareness and risk awareness, and persevere with a nail-driving spirit.

The company's external directors and supervisors, members of the leadership team, and more than 30 department heads attended the meeting in person, while the remaining employees attended via video.
