The Jinan West Ring Expressway project is under vigorous construction, with numerous XCMG large-tonnage rotary drilling rigs on site, laying a solid foundation for the region's entry into the "Third Ring Era."

The project is an important part of Shandong Province's expressway network featuring "nine vertical, five horizontal, one ring, seven radial and multiple connecting" routes, and is also a major construction project designated by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government.
The project involves piles of three diameters—1.5 m, 1.8 m and 2.0 m—with pile depths of around 100 meters. Multiple XCMG XR360E and XR400E rigs drill in and out rapidly, completing 3–4 piles per day on average with continuous operation and no failures, ensuring high-quality and high-efficiency project delivery through the high reliability of XCMG equipment.

The XCMG XR360E features an optimally designed double-boom luffing mechanism and hinge-point positions that balance construction stability with convenient relocation and transport; its hydraulic system adopts load-sensing technology for greater energy savings and fuel efficiency.
The XR360E uses XCMG's proprietary single-row-rope main winch structure, effectively solving the problem of wire-rope "rope biting" and extending service life; switching between standard and rock-drilling modes improves construction efficiency; the standard centralized lubrication system makes maintenance more convenient and improves operational reliability.

The XCMG XR400E adopts a double-boom luffing mechanism and an H-type hydraulically telescopic crawler chassis specially designed for rotary drilling rigs, ensuring superior stability and convenient transport; it is powered by a Cummins engine with strong power and three-stage power control, effectively reducing fuel consumption and operating costs; the power head offers standard, rock-drilling and energy-saving modes, allowing users to select the appropriate mode according to different geological conditions,
Outstanding construction efficiency and excellent performance make XCMG large-tonnage rotary drilling rigs the brand of choice for customers.

Guided by the "three highs and one large" innovation strategy, XCMG Foundation has repeatedly set new records for the world's largest-tonnage rotary drilling rig. The current world record holder, the XR1200E, also recently rolled off the production line at XCMG Foundation's intelligent manufacturing base for foundation construction machinery, continuously injecting powerful momentum into the high-quality development of Chinese manufacturing.

To date, XCMG offers the industry's most complete range of ultra-large-tonnage rotary drilling rigs, all of which have achieved batch sales and application, continuously injecting powerful momentum into the high-quality development of Chinese manufacturing and demonstrating their capabilities in the foundation construction of large bridge piles and super-high-rise buildings.

Standing at the new starting point of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, as new blueprints such as dual carbon and digitalization continue to take shape, XCMG Foundation will accelerate the green transformation and upgrading of its products, strengthen research on new energy technologies, optimize digital management across the entire value chain, and embrace the new wave, striving to reach the summit of the global foundation construction machinery industry at an early date!
