Recently, the Qingyun Road public parking lot construction project has been proceeding in an orderly manner. Preparatory work including construction area fencing, pedestrian-vehicle separation passages outside the fencing, and the real-name access channel at the construction site has been completed.

The Qingyun Road public parking lot construction project is developed and built by Guiyang Smart Parking Company and is part of the "One Circle, Two Sites, Three Renovations" initiative. The project is located on Qingyun Road in Nanming District, with a building area of nearly 20,000 square meters. According to the preliminary planning scheme, the parking lot is designed with 3 underground floors and 10 above-ground floors, with a building height of about 50 meters. More than 700 parking spaces are planned, including over 60 underground self-driving charging spaces. Two vehicle entrances and exits are planned: entry from Qingyun Road and exit via Huannan Lane.

According to Zhao Panlong, project manager of the construction unit Guizhou Construction Engineering No. 7 Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., the area surrounding the construction site is a residential area. To minimize disturbance to residents, the project department has adopted staggered construction scheduling to reduce noise interference. For processes with higher noise levels, work is required to stop after 10 p.m., and workers may only enter the site at 6 a.m. the next day. "We have not yet entered the peak construction period. More than 30 workers, including rebar workers, carpenters, and masons, are working in shifts on the project. About 50 tons of rebar required for the project construction have all been prepared," Zhao Panlong said. Once the project enters the peak construction period, the project department will continue to increase manpower and material resources to ensure the construction task is completed on schedule.

According to a relevant person in charge of Guiyang Smart Parking Company, after the project is completed, it will provide convenient parking support services for Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street and residents of surrounding old residential communities, better meeting citizens' parking and travel needs.
