Recently, Xu Nanji, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, emphasized during an inspection of major project construction, work safety, and power supply assurance for this winter and next spring that the spirit of the Sixth Municipal Party Congress and the Municipal Two Sessions must be thoroughly implemented, development and safety coordinated, all-out efforts made to accelerate major project construction, and all tasks of the 100-day sprint effectively carried out.

Xu Nanji first came to the Huaneng Ruijin Power Plant in Ganxian District, where he learned in detail about the progress of the Phase II expansion project and coordinated on-site solutions to specific problems. At State Grid Ganzhou Power Supply Company, Xu Nanji carefully listened to reports on Ganzhou power grid construction and power supply assurance for this winter and next spring. Xu Nanji said he sincerely thanked Huaneng Ruijin Power Plant and State Grid Ganzhou Power Supply Company for their long-standing support for Ganzhou's economic and social development, and hoped the enterprises would strengthen overall planning and scheduling, accelerate efforts to shore up weak links, enhance energy security capacity, and do everything possible to ensure people's livelihood, safety, and key priorities.

At the construction sites of the Zhongke Sanhuan high-performance rare earth permanent magnet new material project and the Guorui Kechuang National Rare Earth Functional Materials Innovation Center project, Xu Nanji learned in detail about project progress, industrial chain development, and park construction. He pointed out that project construction must adhere to high standards, use land economically and intensively, fully leverage radiating, driving, and demonstrative roles, empower industrial parks, and enhance their carrying capacity. It is necessary to attract investment around the industrial chain, vigorously introduce leading enterprises and major projects, and increase industrial concentration. It is necessary to emancipate the mind, explore and innovate platform operating mechanisms, proactively face the market, innovate incubation models, accelerate the transformation of achievements, stimulate scientific and technological innovation vitality, and speed up breakthroughs in key core technologies. It is necessary to broaden thinking, strengthen linkages among research institutes, universities, and enterprises, explore the establishment of systems such as the "dual appointment system," and introduce talent in flexible ways.

At every stop, Xu Nanji carefully asked about project progress, learned about the actual difficulties of enterprises, and studied solutions on site. He required that the 100-day sprint campaign for major project construction be carried out solidly, full-chain and full-life-cycle services be provided, and projects be promoted to start early, be completed early, be put into use early, and yield results early.
