Recently, an on-site meeting to advance the Ninggu Expressway project construction was held in Jixiang Township. The meeting heard reports on the project progress and land acquisition and relocation, and studied and deployed related work. Xu Feng, deputy secretary of the county party committee and acting county magistrate, Zheng Guidong, deputy secretary of the county party committee, and county leaders Zhuo Changxu, Lin Shiqing, Lei Yi, Cheng Guofei, and Ding Jingfeng attended the meeting.

Xu Feng pointed out that the Ninggu Expressway is a road of connection, a road for the people, and a road of development eagerly awaited by the people of Gutian County. The county party committee and county government attach great importance to it, and the whole county must unite and make further efforts to take responsibility and act, "not delay even a single day," and work hard and tackle difficulties in striving for early commencement, early construction, and early opening to traffic. In particular, full preparations must be made for construction to start before the end of the year, obstacles in land acquisition and relocation must be cleared, and element guarantees must be provided to achieve a "green construction channel."

Xu Feng emphasized that further mobilization is needed. We must tighten the string of thought, make all preparations, widely mobilize cadres and the masses, and concentrate the focus of work, work forces, and the spirit of cadres on the construction of the Ninggu Expressway. Further bottom-line guarantees are needed. We must tackle difficulties and catch up on progress, advance land acquisition and relocation at full speed, carefully plan the funding package, and plan the industrial layout of the Dadong Economic Corridor from a high-level overall perspective. Further implementation is needed. We must determine the commencement plan as soon as possible, make preparations for early-stage construction upon entry, optimize the route alignment and direction, and prepare for construction entry. Further testing is needed. We must regard the construction of the Ninggu Expressway as a touchstone and training ground for testing cadres' ability to tackle difficulties, to see who can fight the toughest battles and tackle the hardest problems; we must set off a "Gutian atmosphere" across the county of comparing, learning, catching up, surpassing, working hard and advancing quickly, and taking responsibility and acting.

At the meeting, specific work such as land acquisition and relocation tasks for relevant townships, departmental element guarantees, and pre-construction preparations was clearly assigned, and arrangements were made for the Jixiang interchange route and implementation work.
