The extreme cold cannot stop the "fighting nation"—the Russians—from working in full swing on the Red Star Shipyard in the Far East. Four XCMG E-series rotary drilling rigs are busy drilling and pulling, working tirelessly.

The pile foundation construction carried out by XCMG rotary drilling rigs is part of Phase II of the Red Star Shipyard project in the Russian Far East. The project is scheduled to last 7 months, with pile diameters of 600mm, 800mm and 1,000mm, totaling about 4,000 piles. The full-casing follow-up method is used, and the construction requires longitudinal and latitudinal deviation to be controlled within 3cm and depth deviation within 5cm, posing a precision challenge to the pile foundation construction equipment.

In order to complete the pile foundation construction before the extreme cold arrives, the XCMG rotary drilling rigs need to be on duty at all times, working 24 hours without stopping.

The Red Star Shipyard is Russia's most modern shipyard. President Putin has inspected the project on site many times and considers the construction of the Red Star Shipyard a major national project for Russia.

This is not the first time XCMG has been involved with this major national project in Russia. As early as Phase I of the Red Star Shipyard project, the XCMG XR360 rotary drilling rig won customer trust with its strong torque and ability to tackle hard rock.
