From October 24 to 26, 2021, the Wuhu Municipal Transport Bureau organized the pre-initial operation safety assessment for the Wuhu Rail Transit Line 1 project, inviting 17 senior experts from Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Nanjing and other cities to conduct the safety assessment for Rail Transit Line 1.

At 9:00 a.m. on October 26, the Municipal Transport Bureau held the closing meeting of the pre-initial operation safety assessment for the Wuhu Rail Transit Line 1 project. Deputy Director Yao Dafang chaired the meeting, which was attended by units including the Municipal Rail and Tunnel Office and Yunda Company. The head of the expert panel read out the safety assessment opinion, raising 3 issues that must be resolved before initial operation and 17 issues requiring continuous rectification.

Yao Dafang, Deputy Director of the Municipal Transport Bureau, put forward three requirements. First, all units must fulfill their responsibilities and carry out rectification work without compromise to ensure the line opens on schedule. Second, Yunda Company must focus on its primary responsibilities and core business, firmly establish a red-line awareness of work safety, strictly uphold bottom-line thinking in safety management, ensure that Line 1 operates with absolutely no safety incidents, and strive to make Line 1 a model of rail transit operation safety. Third, Yunda Company must optimize and improve its service level; Line 1 must adhere to a high starting point and high standards, fully reflect the true character of transport workers in the new era in pursuing excellence, and comprehensively showcase Wuhu's new image, striving to provide citizens with efficient and high-quality service guarantees.
