10月20日，宇通YTR300Dmax在彩虹桥工程中引桥段北三环与京广路立交桥由南向西的匝道上打下了第一根桩孔，标志着该工程进入拆解与新建同步进行的新阶段。
“彩虹桥”就是郑州北环快速路铁路跨线大桥，是郑州北区东西向的咽喉要道，1994年底建成通车。近年来，由于桥梁通行压力不断加大，该桥经过多次整修后仍无法满足市民出行需求，不断出现的隐患，也严重影响了铁路的运营安全，2019年10月26日封闭后，确定要拆解重建。
新桥采用下承式三跨连续单拱肋钢箱系杆拱桥，保留了彩虹桥的历史记忆，同时又彰显现代设计的活力。不久的将来，彩虹桥将以新的形象示人，它将更好的服务人民，而宇通旋挖钻也会不忘初心，继续为祖国建设贡献力量。
