记者10月11日从省发展改革委获悉，近日，宣城至绩溪高铁胡乐三号隧道顺利贯通。这是宣绩高铁第一座实现贯通的隧道，标志着项目建设取得阶段性进展。
宣绩高铁线路起自商合杭高铁宣城站，经宁国市至绩溪北站，向北联通苏南、苏北、山东半岛铁路网及规划的京沪二通道，向南衔接合福、昌景黄等路网干线，可以形成贯通鲁、苏、皖、赣、闽五省以及西南地区的铁路通道。
据悉，宣绩高铁正线全长111.601公里，设计时速350公里，共设宣城、宁国南、绩溪北3座车站，是长三角城际轨道交通网中的骨干线路。该高铁线路预计2024年9月具备开通运营条件。
