In recent years, China's economic development level has continued to rise, electricity demand has grown rapidly, and power supply has been tight. The state has put forward higher requirements for energy conservation in industrial enterprises, especially for energy-intensive industries, requiring maximum recovery and utilization of waste heat, reduction of energy consumption, energy conservation, and realization of the strategy of sustainable economic development.
At the same time, with increasingly fierce and brutal competition in the cement market, making full use of waste gas discharged from the kiln system for waste heat power generation, improving the plant's self-supply rate of production electricity, reducing cement production costs, and enhancing product competitiveness, thereby occupying and expanding cement market share and maintaining sustainable corporate development, is one of the technologies available for large cement enterprises at present and in the future.
Waste heat power generation in the cement industry began to be promoted at the beginning of this century. After nearly ten years of development, it has now "blossomed everywhere." Waste heat power generation in cement production not only greatly improves the level of energy utilization in the cement production process, but also plays a huge role in promoting environmental protection, improving enterprises' economic benefits, and enhancing products' market competitiveness.
At present, regarding the power generation capacity indicators of waste heat power generation technology, the industry often only pays attention to the power generation per ton of clinker, and rarely pays attention to the impact of related factors on power generation. This is the main reason for many new situations at present. For pure low-temperature waste heat power generation in cement kilns, there are many factors affecting power generation per ton of clinker, such as: clinker heat consumption (involving the exhaust gas temperature at the kiln head and kiln tail, etc.); the heat of formation of clinker (involving the composition of raw meal batching); the exhaust gas temperature and exhaust gas volume required for drying raw materials and fuel (involving the amount of waste heat available for power generation); the composition mode of the power station thermodynamic system and steam parameters (involving the cycle efficiency of the power generation system); the actual clinker output and scale (involving the efficiency of boilers, steam turbines and other equipment); the waste heat extraction method (involving the impact on kiln production and clinker heat consumption), and so on.
Because there are many factors affecting waste heat power generation capacity, and because of the complexity of these factors in actual production, the efficiency of waste heat power generation varies among cement enterprises. On September 25, China Cement Network will hold the "2013 China Cement Energy-Saving Technology Exchange Conference" in Jinan, Shandong. At that time, Zhao Xiangdong, general manager of Beijing Liulihe Cement Co., Ltd., will share Liulihe's experience in waste heat power generation renovation. The conference will also invite industry leaders, experts, and entrepreneurs to conduct in-depth discussions on the misunderstandings and potential of energy conservation in the current cement industry, help cement enterprises master correct energy-saving methods and technologies, and improve the overall energy-saving level of the industry!
