红岩村嘉陵江大桥主塔基础工程是2013年重庆市重点工程。自2012年12月30日开工建设以来，承建单位中铁上海工程局嘉陵江大桥项目部以“和嘉陵江洪水赛跑”的实干精神，通过“六比六创”立功竞赛活动，抓住嘉陵江枯水期水位不高这一千载难逢的有利战机，对施工方案反复论证优化，编制了科学合理的施工方案，并对工期进行倒排，进场不到半个月就迅速打开了施工局面。
