On August 27, the China-Thailand High-Speed Railway project undertaken by Sunward International, a subsidiary of Sunward Intelligent, successfully completed the construction of the first batch of test piles. This marks Sunward International's successful entry into the Thai project construction market.

The Thailand HSR China-Thailand project is jointly invested and developed by China and Thailand and links to Yunnan Province at the southern tip of China. It is a land corridor and major transportation artery in Southeast Asia. Relying on Sunward Intelligent's strong technological innovation capabilities, high-quality machinery and equipment, and solid construction quality, Sunward International was awarded the opportunity to undertake the pile foundation work for the China-Thailand High-Speed Railway.

As Sunward International's first project in Thailand, after three months of careful planning and full preparation, the C3-3 pile foundation project of the China-Thailand High-Speed Railway in Nakhon Ratchasima Province-Bangkok officially commenced on August 1, and Sunward Intelligent equipment was also officially deployed on the China-Thailand High-Speed Railway project in Thailand.

Since the project commenced, the construction team has adopted a "one pile, one summary" approach to continuously optimize the construction process. Construction efficiency has increased fourfold compared with the beginning and is three times that of other construction teams, ensuring that the project's pile foundation construction is on track.
By analyzing and reviewing the entire process of each pile—from drilling and hole formation to rebar cage welding and concrete pouring—and by adjusting time allocation, personnel scheduling, machinery and equipment preparation, and the coordination of each construction stage, the Sunward International construction team achieved cross-operation and refined division of labor. They also achieved an efficiency improvement from initially one pile every four days, to one pile every three days, and finally to one pile per day, ultimately completing the construction of the first batch of test piles within one month.

Behind Sunward International's first victory was no simple feat. Since April this year, the COVID-19 outbreak in Thailand has surged, with new cases soaring to nearly 20,000 per day, creating major obstacles for construction companies in recruiting personnel. Sunward International completed the formation of its team through online and offline, domestic and international multi-channel recruitment.

In addition, the pandemic's impact on international freight led to a situation at multiple ports where containers were hard to obtain. Sunward International's logistics department actively communicated with freight companies and used bulk carriers to deliver equipment and supporting materials to the project site in a short time for assembly.
