Jiangxi

Construction Praised, Customer Places Repeat Order

At a housing construction pile project in Shangrao, Jiangxi, five XCMG rotary drilling rigs are busy at work.

The pile diameters for this project are basically 0.8 m, with depths between 20 and 28 m. Average hole completion takes about one and a half hours, and construction efficiency is very high. In the upcoming Phase II project, customer Mr. Wang continues to choose XCMG and intends to lease three more XCMG machines to continue construction.

Wuhan

Hard Rock Construction, Efficiency 50% Higher

At the construction site of a housing construction pile foundation project in Wuhan, the XCMG XR360E is taking on formations such as red sandstone and quartz sandstone with natural compressive strength of 40-50 MPa.

Because the pile foundation work volume is large, the borehole diameter is 1 m, and the deepest drilling depth reaches 70 m, with some sections penetrating 4-5 m into rock and broken layers about 30-40 m before entering rock. The XCMG XR360E rotary drilling rig completes a hole in one day, 50% more efficient than peers. Its advantage is especially obvious after entering rock: it completes one pile in about 10 hours, while peer rigs in the same formation and the same time only reach a depth of 7 m.

Shenzhen

Large and Deep Piles: XCMG Large-Tonnage Machines Show Their Strength

The earthwork and foundation pit support project of a renewal project in Luohu District, Shenzhen, started at the end of 2020 and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2022. Most piles have diameters above 2500 mm and hole depths of about 50 m, beginning to penetrate rock at about 20 m.

Because the geology is relatively hard, large XCMG models such as the XR400D, XR450E, XR600E, XR550D, and XR580HD are participating in the project's construction. XCMG's large models are highly competitive in themselves; the XR550D in particular has an absolute cost-performance advantage among peer manufacturers.

Yibin

Concrete Cast-in-Place Piles Set Off an Efficiency Wave

At a housing construction project in the Lingang District of Yibin, the main pile foundations are reinforced concrete cast-in-place piles mainly sized from 800 mm to 2200 mm. The project has diverse geology, including hard rock and semi-rock formations.

Five XCMG rotary drilling rigs have started work, and three machines from peer manufacturers are also on site. Compared with rotary drilling rigs of the same model from other brands, the XCMG XR360E demonstrates outstanding performance: when drilling granite geology, it delivers both output and quality, setting off an efficiency wave of "go all out and race ahead" at the project construction site.

According to the site manager: with XCMG rotary drilling rigs used on this year's project, judging from current construction efficiency, the schedule is expected to be advanced by 15 days.
