Recently, the Phase I project of the Comprehensive Wharf at Zhongtong Operation Area in Yujiang Port Area of Yingtan Port, Jiangxi Province, constructed by the Second Harbor Engineering Bureau, passed completion acceptance nine months ahead of schedule.

The project is located on the left bank of the Xinjiang River in Zhongtong Town, Yujiang District, Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province. It mainly involves the construction of one 1,000-tonne general cargo berth and one 1,000-tonne multipurpose berth, with a wharf shoreline of 200 meters and a designed annual throughput of 700,000 tonnes. The main construction content includes berths, approach bridges, retaining walls, land formation and foundation treatment, storage yards, and other ancillary facilities.

The project is the first modern cargo wharf on the high-grade waterway of the Xinjiang River in Jiangxi Province. Upon completion, it will promote the development of port-related industries in Yingtan City, improve the comprehensive transportation system, and provide port and waterway support for Yingtan City to build itself into an important strategic pivot of the Jiangxi Inland Open Economy Pilot Zone.
