Riding on favorable winds and meeting widespread expectations, the commencement ceremony for the pile foundation and foundation pit works of the Hainan University Biomedical and Health Research Center Project, together with the signing ceremony between Guoji Foundation and Zhengyu Heavy Industry for electric rotary drilling rigs, was grandly held in Sanya, Hainan recently.

Mr. Deng Fangyuan, Vice President of Guoji Holding Group; Mr. Chen Hailiang, Sanya Regional Manager of Guoji Holding Group; Mr. Sun Xiaokang, General Manager of the East Guangdong Branch of Yutong Group's Zhengyu Heavy Industry; and other leaders and guests gathered joyfully under the blue sky and white clouds to witness this historic moment together.

In his speech, Mr. Deng stated: "The Hainan University Biomedical and Health Research Center Project is a major measure to implement President Xi's important '4.13' speech and the spirit of Document No. 12. It is necessary for building Hainan into an advanced demonstration zone for the health industry and promoting the high-quality development of the health industry. Guoji people will carry forward the iron-army spirit of 'fearing no hardship, shrinking from no difficulty, and daring to fight tough battles,' and work with Zhengyu Heavy Industry's new-energy electric rotary drilling rigs to jointly support the development of the country's new-energy cause."

In recent years, China's high-quality economic development, especially the setting of the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, has provided enormous market demand for all industries and also a major opportunity for our construction machinery sector. Relying on Yutong Group's strong new-energy technical support and nearly eighteen years of experience in rotary drilling rig development, Zhengyu Heavy Industry has taken the lead in launching electric rotary drilling rigs to support the development of the country's new-energy cause, which coincides with the development philosophy of Guoji Foundation Holding Group's new-energy company.

The Hainan University Biomedical and Health Research Center Project is located in Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City, Yazhou District, Sanya City. The project aims to implement the national 14th Five-Year Plan and the 2035 long-range objectives, and mainly comprises a scientific research building for the Biomedical and Health Research Center and a non-human primate model animal research base. It includes a one-story basement and is planned to adopt a frame-shear structure and pile foundation mode. Its total construction area is 51,615 m², with a planned total investment of 848 million yuan, and it is scheduled to be completed in March 2023.

This project plays a leading role in laying out frontier science and technology fields such as brain-inspired intelligence and industrial transformation, as well as future products.
