On August 4, the right-span girder erection of the Dahekou Interchange Main Line No. 3 Bridge, constructed by the Fourth Company of China Railway 15th Bureau for the Chuda Expressway Expansion Project, was completed. It is understood that this is the first bridge to complete girder erection in the Chuda Expressway Expansion Project.

The Chuda Expressway Expansion Project is an important section in Yunnan of the G56 Hangzhou-Ruili Expressway of the National Expressway Network. It is the main economic trunk line from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, to western Yunnan, northwestern Yunnan, southwestern Yunnan and the Tibetan areas, and is an international corridor connecting Southeast Asian and South Asian countries among the "seven outbound provincial and five outbound international" main highway corridors in Yunnan Province's expressway network. After completion and opening to traffic, the travel time from Kunming to Dali will be shortened to 2.5 hours.

The right-span girder erection of the Dahekou Interchange Main Line No. 3 Bridge of the Chuda Expressway Project is one of the controlling works of the entire line. The bridge has a total length of 766 meters, a total span length of 760 meters, 21 spans in total, and 167 prestressed concrete T-beams. The construction of the bridge's high piers mainly adopts a new heavy-duty hydraulic climbing formwork technology. Compared with traditional climbing formwork technology, it requires no other lifting equipment during climbing, features fast climbing speed, high safety factor, low labor intensity and high overall construction efficiency.

Before girder erection, the Fourth Company of China Railway 15th Bureau conducted pre-job training, safety education and technical briefings for on-site construction personnel. On-site technicians worked alongside the crews, safety personnel controlled the site, responsibilities were assigned to individuals, and construction was carried out in 24-hour continuous shifts to ensure close coordination in girder production and lifting, loading, transportation and erection, thus successfully completing the task.
