Recently, the preliminary design and budget estimates for Phase II (Medical and Normal Education Cluster) and Phase III (Engineering Cluster) of the Putian University relocation project were approved by the Putian Municipal Development and Reform Commission.

Phases II and III of the Putian University relocation project will mainly construct the Medical Cluster, the College of Environmental and Biological Engineering, the College of Arts and Crafts, the College of Civil Engineering, the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and the College of Information Engineering, along with supporting infrastructure such as roads, landscaping, and indoor and outdoor water supply and drainage systems. The total construction area of the project is 361,051.87 square meters, with a total budget estimate of 2,099,891,300 yuan. The funding will be included in the PPP investment scope of the Putian University relocation project, and the construction period is controlled within 30 months.
