Recently, the first pile foundation of the Xinlang Bridge in Section 2 of the Guangdong Zhaoming Expressway Project, invested in and constructed by China Energy Engineering Corporation's Gezhouba Group, was drilled, marking the bridge's entry into the main construction phase.

It is reported that the left span of the Xinlang Bridge is 764 meters long, and the right span is 734 meters long. The right-span 12-2 pile foundation drilled this time is a friction pile with a diameter of 2 meters and a length of 32 meters. During construction, the project department actively coordinated with the project company, the design unit, and the local government to complete pre-construction technical approval and resource preparation, smoothly advancing the first batch of pile foundation construction.

The Zhaoming Expressway Project (Phase I) has a total length of 98.4 kilometers and is a major transportation infrastructure project for Zhaoqing's "eastward integration and westward linkage" strategy and an important corridor for the urban area to connect southward to the Pearl River Delta. After completion, the project will shorten the driving distance from the northern part of Zhaoqing to the central urban area by 30 kilometers, which is of great significance for promoting transportation integration in the Guangzhou-Foshan-Zhaoqing region and coordinated economic and social development.

The Zhaoqing-Gaoming (Airport West) Expressway Project has an estimated total investment of 28.215 billion yuan and is being built to a two-way, six-lane expressway standard. It starts from Binheng in Guangning and ends at Gaoming Airport, with a total length of 120.527 kilometers and three service areas. It passes through eight towns in Gaoyao District—Shuinan, Xiaoxiang, Dawan, Nan'an Subdistrict, Xinqiao, Liantang, Jiaotang, and Huilong—covering a total of 103.327 kilometers within Gaoyao and including three service areas.
