On July 30, after 8 hours of continuous work, the continuous rigid frame of the Dabapu Bridge on the T2 section of the Chongqing-Zunyi Expressway, constructed by the Fourth Company of China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group, was successfully closed. The 150-meter mid-span closed this time is also the largest-span continuous rigid frame in the section. With this, all continuous rigid frames in the section have been closed, laying the foundation for the smooth opening of the entire line by the end of 2022.

The continuous rigid frame of the Dabapu Bridge closed this time has a total length of 312 meters and is constructed in left and right spans, including 34 segments, 2 side-span cast-in-place sections and closure sections, and 1 mid-span closure section. The right-span mid-span was closed on June 10. The rigid frame bridge crosses the G210 national highway in Songkan, the operating line of the Sichuan-Guizhou Railway, and the Songkan River channel. It involves great construction difficulty and high operational safety risks, and is a key control project of the Chongqing-Zunyi project.

The T2 section of the Chongqing-Zunyi Expressway is located in Songkan Town, Tongzi County, Zunyi City. It starts at the exit and end point of the Songkan Tunnel, passes through Songkan Town where the Songkan Hub Interchange is set, and ends at the entrance of the Huangjiagou Tunnel. The route length is 4.085 kilometers, and the total project cost is 1.05 billion yuan. The main construction content includes subgrade engineering, bridge and culvert engineering, and ancillary facilities.

This route is China's first high-grade, rapid southwestern sea access channel. It passes through cities such as Zunyi and Guiyang, and can connect industry, agriculture, tourism, transportation, and other sectors along the route into an integrated market, forming a development pattern of complementary advantages and playing an important role in promoting the economic development of Chongqing, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Guangdong.
