On the morning of July 29, the domestically developed super-large diameter slurry shield tunneling machine "Jianxun," jointly built by CRCHI and Shanghai Foundation, rolled off the production line at CRCHI's Changsha First Industrial Park. With an excavation diameter of 14.02 meters, the equipment will soon be deployed in the construction of the Shanghai Airport Link Line project.

The Shanghai Airport Link Line is another "landmark project" in the history of Shanghai's rail transit construction. "Jianxun" is the first shield tunneling machine used for Section 7 of the Shanghai Airport Link Line, marking the first shot fired by Shanghai Foundation in the municipal railway project. "Jianxun" is equipped with multiple key technologies, including a atmospheric-pressure soft-soil cutterhead, a high-pressure-resistant main drive seal, a large-flow slurry scouring circulation system, a high-precision gas-liquid pressure balance control system, efficient material transport and synchronous box culvert assembly technology, and a synchronous grouting compactness detection system for wall thickness, greatly improving the adaptability and reliability of the shield tunneling machine and safeguarding the smooth implementation of the project.
