On July 29, the list of winners of the Guangxi Informatization Excellent Cases, jointly determined by the Cyberspace Administration of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee, the Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission, the Autonomous Region Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Autonomous Region Big Data Development Bureau, was released. Among them, the "Yuchai Digital Factory" project was rated as a best case in the Industrial Internet category, and the "Yuchai Power Data Intelligent Service System" project was rated as an excellent case in the Information Infrastructure category.

In recent years, in order to meet continuously increasing customer personalized demands and continuously improve delivery cycle requirements, Yuchai has adhered to innovative reform, made efforts in organization, processes, IT systems and other aspects, continuously improved delivery cycles, on-time delivery rates, customer satisfaction and full-process order management capabilities, carried out intelligent transformation of traditional industry, achieved transformation and upgrading, and enhanced the core competitiveness of the enterprise.
Against this background, the "Yuchai Digital Factory" case emerged. This project integrates technologies such as artificial intelligence, visual recognition, and flexible production, and connects all elements of the entire production process, including engine casting, machining, and assembly, such as people, machines, materials, methods, and environment, through the network, achieving flexible matching and lean production. In June 2020, the Yuchai Intelligent Manufacturing Factory was initially completed, achieving agile flexible intelligent manufacturing, reaching industry-leading levels, and achieving significant economic benefits, further enhancing Yuchai's core competitiveness.

The "Yuchai Power Data Intelligent Service System" project aims to build a "Yuchai Data Ecosystem" centered on Yuchai and closely connecting vehicle manufacturers, dealers, service providers, and end users, grasp the initiative in aftermarket services, and at the same time provide data support for Yuchai's various business segments, providing users, dealers, and OEMs with solutions to meet national regulatory requirements as well as supporting financial products. The launch of the "Yuchai Power Data Intelligent Service System" project marks Yuchai's first step into the Internet of Vehicles and will create value for customers in the Internet of Vehicles ecological chain.
It is reported that Yuchai is the first engine enterprise in China to use the Industrial Internet to explore intelligent manufacturing. Since 2015, it has successively introduced advanced manufacturing concepts and production methods such as "Made in China 2025" and the "Industrial Internet," accelerated manufacturing upgrading centered on digitalization, networking, and intelligence, further empowered the enterprise's traditional equipment manufacturing, and became a benchmark for the high-quality development of Guangxi's machinery industry.
