Recently, a 50-meter-long, 2.8-meter-high precast T-beam weighing about 185 tons was steadily lowered into its designated position under the traction of a bridge erection machine, marking the double-track breakthrough of the Fenhe Bridge, a controlling and difficult section of the Jingxing Expressway project developed by China Railway Development.

The civil engineering Lot 1 project of the Jingxing Expressway, undertaken by the Road and Bridge Company of China Railway Sixth Group, is located in Fengrun Town, Jingle County. The bridge crosses "one river, two zones and three roads," namely the Fenhe River, the National Fenhe River Wetland Protection Zone, the "Millennium Pure Dwelling" grotto cultural relic protection zone, the Jingjing Railway, National Highway 241, and the Jingshang Line highway.

During the construction of the Fenhe Bridge, all participating employees of the Jingxing Project Department of the Road and Bridge Company fully carried forward the road-and-bridge spirit of "cutting roads through mountains and building bridges over rivers," worked in unity and cooperation, and overcame numerous difficulties, including high technical difficulty in construction, stringent environmental and water conservation requirements, some pile foundations located at the edge of steep cliffs, narrow working faces, difficult access road connections, and great difficulty in organizing cross-construction. They persisted in integrating scientific and technological innovation throughout the entire construction process.

As the Fenhe Bridge crosses multiple major traffic routes, there are many cross-operations. To ensure that the entire erection construction was completed safely, with high quality and efficiently, the project department adhered to high-standard design and high-standard construction and strengthened whole-process control; safety passages were set up beneath the bridge to protect passing vehicles; full-time safety officers were assigned between the precast beam yard and the bridge for all-weather control, providing dedicated service for beam transport vehicles to ensure smooth beam transport roads; at the same time, full-time safety officers were designated to closely monitor on-site management and make every effort to ensure that safety measures were fully implemented, thereby ensuring that the double-track T-beam erection of the Fenhe Bridge was completed within the scheduled time.
