Recently, the sub-unit works of two shield tunnel sections on the Luoyang Metro Line 2 project—Citizen's Home Station to Mudan Avenue Station to Guanlin Avenue Station—successfully passed acceptance. The scope of this acceptance covers the shield tunnel unit works from Citizen's Home Station to Mudan Avenue Station to Guanlin Avenue Station. The Mudan Avenue–Citizen's Home shield tunnel section was completed from August 23, 2019 to May 28, 2020; the Guanlin Avenue–Mudan Avenue shield tunnel section was completed from May 31, 2019 to October 21, 2019.

At the acceptance meeting, the head of the supervision unit first reported on several aspects, including the project overview, organization and management, construction of the subsidiary structure sub-division works, process quality control, and the compilation of construction technical documents. Subsequently, the acceptance team members carefully reviewed quality control documents such as raw material certification documents, re-test submission reports, concealed works records, and concrete test block submission reports, and conducted an on-site inspection of the construction site, carrying out a detailed acceptance of the physical engineering quality.

During the on-site inspection, the acceptance personnel fully affirmed the on-site quality, safety, and civilized construction work, and considered that the structural appearance, dimensions, verticality, and flatness all met the design requirements and standards. After discussion of the acceptance results, a consensus was reached that all works subject to this acceptance were qualified, met the design and specification requirements, complied with national acceptance standards, and were approved for acceptance.
