Recently, at the 2021 Xi'an Major Project Construction Press Conference, Rong Liang, Deputy Director of the Xi'an Municipal Health Commission, introduced the progress of key projects in Xi'an's health sector. It is understood that in 2021 there are a total of 381 key construction tasks for the health sector, all June targets have been completed, and 50 of the annual tasks were completed ahead of schedule in the first half of the year.

According to the introduction, the main structures of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital Xixian Campus project and the Xi'an Central Hospital Jingkai Campus project have been topped out; the main structures of the Xi'an Children's Hospital Jingkai Campus project (South District) and the Xi'an Honghui Hospital High-speed Railway New City Campus project (East District) have been topped out; the Xi'an Public Health Center project, the Xi'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital South Campus project, the Xi'an First Hospital relocation project, the Weibei General Hospital project, the International Land Port Hospital project, and the Xi'an Third Hospital expansion project are undergoing main structure construction; the Xi'an Ninth Hospital expansion project, the Qujiang New District Hospital project, and the Shaanxi Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine relocation project have completed project bidding and entered the foundation construction stage. Among the 21 disease control institution construction projects, 8 projects in High-tech Zone, Lianhu District, Xixian New Area, Xincheng District, etc. have started construction, and site selection has been completed for all the remaining 13 projects. The annual tasks are progressing steadily according to the monthly task list.
