Capturing Guangdong's "bridgehead," he propelled XCMG's "two-drill products" rapidly to No.1 nationwide;

Carrying forward an iron-willed work style, he drove an overall boost in the combat effectiveness of the marketing system;

Tackling major system clients, he led his team to capture the Beijing-Tianjin stronghold.

He is Han Gang, the "Flying General of Longcheng" behind XCMG piling products' rise to No.1 in China!

Rising from the Wilds: Making Great Contributions in Pioneering Guangdong

In 2010, XCMG Foundation was established, urgently needing a vanguard force to open up the market. Guangdong offered vast market space, yet XCMG piling products' market share there was virtually zero. Han Gang took on the pioneering mission, serving as director of the Guangzhou office and marketing region chief for South China.

New to South China, the market did not recognize the brand, customers did not trust it, and the manpower, material resources, and support the company could provide were limited. Building solid positions and fighting steady battles, he led his team from site to site to gather construction information.

Being turned away was the norm. While seeking new entry points, he also served as his team's "psychological counselor": "Whether they buy or not doesn't matter—trust is built bit by bit. Visit more often and make friends with customers."

Yet the "visiting" Han Gang spoke of was not as easy as he made it sound.

Over a decade ago, transportation was far less developed than today. Han Gang led his team from trains to buses, from buses to minibuses; remote sites had no transport, so they walked several kilometers on foot—wearing through their leather shoes, even losing the soles. In the Guangdong piling market, the story of Han Gang "losing his shoe soles" is still told to this day.

Through persistent door-to-door visits, round after round of business negotiations, and making friends one by one, XCMG rotary drilling rigs gradually came into the view of South China customers. In just three years, XCMG drilling rig sales in the Guangzhou area broke through from zero to one hundred units.

Forging Ahead in Battle: Iron Work Style Boosts Marketing Combat Power

In 2013, as XCMG's "two-drill products" blossomed across the domestic market, the marketing system needed a commander with rich market experience and the ability to deploy troops and arrange formations. At this critical moment, Han Gang was recalled to marketing headquarters as director of the marketing center and head of the drilling rig sales department.

He focused on marketing management, strengthening the work style and talent development of the marketing team. Traveling to offices across the country, he replicated and promoted the tough work style and good experience of the Guangdong market to the management of each marketing office, formulated targeted tactics, and guided sales teams in battle hand in hand. He insisted that all site research precede business negotiations—only with mud on your feet can you have clarity in your mind.

That year, XCMG rotary drilling rig sales nationwide broke through the 500-unit mark for the first time, achieving the No.1 domestic market share for the first time. The marketing team's morale soared and its combat power multiplied.

Galloping in Victory: Not Yielding a Single Order, Entering Beijing-Tianjin

In 2017, as market competition grew fiercer, Han Gang resolutely returned to the front line of the market, choosing the competitive high ground—the Beijing-Tianjin region. This was destined to be a tough and bitter battle!

How to break the market's "blockade"? Han Gang believed that when it comes to customers, they always have a scale in their hearts for whether a product is good or not.

Han Gang expanded his circle of contacts widely, going to construction sites to ask whether the equipment was handy, to see whether construction efficiency had a competitive edge, and whether on-site service was timely. He talked carefully with major clients, operators, and all the end users he could reach...

Having learned the market's pain points and core demands, XCMG piling machinery deployed its forces. It recommended cost-effective models based on customer needs and, judging the situation and acting decisively, successfully found a breakthrough.

After three years of enduring hardship and maneuvering, last year XCMG piling products finally overtook competitors in sales market share in the Beijing-Tianjin region.

With an unyielding and indomitable spirit

and the courage to stand out as a leader

Han Gang has always chosen posts of urgency, difficulty, and danger

fully safeguarding XCMG's rise to the top domestically

Guarding the territory with responsibility and fulfilling his duty to the fullest!
