The Cambodia National Road No. 11 Reconstruction and Expansion Project, contracted by China Road and Bridge Corporation, has recently received the final acceptance certificate issued by the owner, and the project has been successfully handed over.

The reporter learned from the Cambodia Office of China Road and Bridge Corporation that National Road No. 11 is located in central Cambodia, connecting the two major towns of Kampong Cham and Neak Loeung. It is a key project of Cambodia's road trunk network upgrade plan and an important component of Cambodia's radial transportation corridors, with a total route length of 96 kilometers. The implementation of the project has received great attention and strong support from the Cambodian government and the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia.

During the project construction, Cambodian Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport Sun Chanthol inspected the site many times and spoke highly of the project quality. Sun Chanthol said that the completion of the National Road No. 11 Reconstruction and Expansion Project will further improve Cambodia's national highway trunk network, greatly improve local traffic conditions, and promote tourism, employment, and economic and trade development along the route. The Chinese government, through grant aid and concessional loans, has provided tremendous help and support for Cambodia's infrastructure construction and livelihood projects.

According to the introduction, as a key project of the Belt and Road cooperation jointly built by China and Cambodia, this project has become another important milestone for China Road and Bridge Corporation in deeply cultivating the Cambodian market. During the construction period, China Road and Bridge Corporation directly employed approximately 1,100 local workers. Along National Road No. 11, there are more and more restaurants, hotels, and small shops, which has driven local commercial prosperity.
