On July 12, the Qingwanjiang Grand Bridge, the first continuous beam of the Nanning-Yulin High-Speed Railway, in Section 8 of China Railway First Group, was successfully closed, marking another major step forward in the construction of the Nanning-Yulin High-Speed Railway and opening a new chapter for subsequent construction.

The Qingwanjiang Grand Bridge is located in Dali Town, Beiliu City. The bridge has a total length of 2,756.1 meters. Where it crosses the Qingwanjiang River, it uses a 48+80+48m continuous beam span, while other sections use 32m and 24m precast box girders, including 76 spans of 32m precast box girders and 1 span of 24m precast box girder.

The continuous beam closed this time has a deck width of 12.6 meters and a bottom width of 6.7 meters. The beam body is a variable-depth box girder, and the closure of the bridge adopted the cantilever casting process with form travelers.

Since entering the site for construction, the construction unit, China Railway First Group, has followed the construction requirement of "starting is a sprint, and commencement is a decisive battle" and has achieved multiple "accelerations" across the entire line: the first project management headquarters, the first central laboratory, the first mixing station, the first steel reinforcement processing yard, the first tunnel portal construction, the first pile foundation, the first pile cap, the first pier column, the first to enter subgrade engineering construction, and the first to enter continuous beam construction. While accelerating project construction, it has comprehensively improved project construction management and ensured that project quality fully meets standards, laying a solid foundation for the completion and opening of the Nanning-Yulin High-Speed Railway.
