Recently, the Information Office of the Xi'an Municipal Government held a press conference on the progress of key projects for the 14th National Games, introducing the construction status of key projects such as the Xingfu Forest Belt, Xingqing Palace Park, the North Square of the Railway Station, and the Xi'an North Railway Station Hub. Up to now, 191 of the 214 key construction projects in Xi'an for the 14th National Games have been completed.

The Xi'an Xingfu Forest Belt project is located between Xingfu Road and Wanshou Road, with a total length of 5.85 kilometers and an area of 1,134 mu. It is one of the world's largest underground space utilization projects and also the country's largest urban forest belt project. According to reports, the commercial operation and public service supporting facilities on the negative first floor of the first opening section of the Xingfu Forest Belt will fully open to the public on July 1, with 257 trendy brand stores opening for business; underground sports venues such as ice hockey and badminton courts, as well as the Xincheng District Library and Cultural Center, will also be put into use successively.

Xi'an North Railway Station is the largest high-speed railway station in Asia, with a total of 18 platforms and 34 platform surfaces, and an annual passenger flow of 62 million person-times. Xi'an has accelerated the construction of the North Railway Station hub project, and as a major urban supporting facility and a key guarantee project for the 14th National Games, it has achieved high-starting-point design, high-standard implementation, and high-quality construction completion in just 13 months.

The Xi'an North Railway Station Hub Project (Phase I) has built a total of 16.13 kilometers of elevated bridges and 13.25 kilometers of ground roads, and can provide more than 2,200 parking spaces. It has built a system of "east-west dual-ring elevated roads + ground adjustment channels," realizing the interconnection between the North Station and the expressway and rapid road networks, and eliminating the safety hazards of left-side passenger drop-off and detouring to enter the station.

To welcome the 14th National Games, the Qujiang New District of Xi'an carried out an upgrade and renovation of Xingqing Palace Park. After six months of day-and-night efforts, Xingqing Palace Park will officially open for free starting July 1. According to reports, during the upgrade and renovation, Xingqing Palace Park drew on the water body treatment experience of the city moat and Meibei Lake, and adopted measures such as water quality purification, water body circulation, and artificial wetlands to thoroughly treat the water ecological environment of Xingqing Lake, forming 150 mu of landscape water area with a storage capacity of 200,000 cubic meters, and the overall water quality has jumped to quasi-Class III.
