On June 28, the Provincial Department of Transportation held an expert review meeting in Hefei for the province's 14th Five-Year Transportation Development Plan. Responsible officials from the Provincial Comprehensive Transportation Law Enforcement and Supervision Bureau, the Highway Management Center, the Road Transport Management Center, the Provincial Maritime Management Center, and relevant departments of the Department attended the meeting.

The meeting invited renowned industry experts from the Planning and Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport and the Civil Aviation Management Institute of China, among others, to form an expert panel. The panel carefully listened to a report by the planning consulting unit on the outcomes of the Anhui Province 14th Five-Year Transportation Development Plan. After thorough discussion, the expert panel concluded that the plan has a clear formulation approach, highlights key priorities, is supported by solid foundational data, and features in-depth analysis and research. It is forward-looking, scientific, guiding, and operable, and the panel unanimously agreed to approve it.

Next, the Provincial Department will revise and improve the plan text based on the experts' review comments, strengthen alignment and coordination with related plans such as the territorial spatial plan, and proceed with the issuance and implementation of the plan in accordance with procedures, so as to ensure a good start and solid first steps for transportation work during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
