On June 30, Yuchai Group convened a grand gathering to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to commend "Two Excellences, One Advance and One Model" awardees, paying tribute to the Party's centenary and honoring the year's outstanding collectives and individuals within the Party.

The meeting reviewed the extraordinary 100-year journey of the Communist Party of China, noting that the Party's century of glorious history fully proves that without the Communist Party of China there would be no New China, no socialism with Chinese characteristics, no modernization of China, and no bright prospects for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Only under the leadership of the Communist Party of China can the country become strong, the nation be revitalized, and the people live in happiness.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 70th anniversary of the founding of Yuchai. Over the past 70 years, under the strong leadership of the great Communist Party of China, Yuchai has braved hardships and forged ahead through trials and tribulations. From its difficult beginnings in the early days of entrepreneurship, to reform and development after the shift from gasoline to diesel engines, and then to the innovative leap of the past two decades, Yuchai has step by step consolidated its development foundation, achieved great leaps in business scale and efficiency, and embarked on a new journey toward becoming a world-class enterprise.

·All Party members renewed their oath of joining the Party, solemnly swearing before the Party flag.

The meeting grandly commended a group of outstanding collectives and individuals who received awards from the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Yulin Municipal Party Committee, and the Yuchai Group Party Committee. They are outstanding representatives of Yuchai's more than 2,600 Communist Party members, having made prominent contributions in Yuchai's second entrepreneurial campaign and, together with the broad ranks of Yuchai builders, driving the great ship of Yuchai ever forward.

·The meeting presented awards to the individual honored as an "Outstanding Party Affairs Worker" of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
·The meeting presented awards to the advanced grassroots Party organizations and individuals commended by the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

·The meeting presented awards to Yuchai Group's 2020 Model Communist Party Members.

The meeting called on all Party members and the broad ranks of Yuchai builders to remember the Party's grace, keep in mind the Party's original aspiration and mission, build a foundation of faith, maintain a sense of crisis, set the will to catch up and surpass, learn from others' strengths, apply lean methods, carry forward the spirit of striving, and serve as leading geese, so that with fuller, more spirited and more resilient fighting will they continue to strive together and jointly create a brilliant future for Yuchai.
