The first phase of the Tongmian Road Comprehensive Upgrade and Renovation Project is progressing in an orderly manner, but it also faces many challenges. The project is located on a major traffic artery and faces enormous traffic pressure. It is necessary to coordinate with the Beilu International City park in a short period of time to build a temporary road to ease traffic pressure. At the same time, it is necessary to coordinate with subdistrict offices, town governments, and other relevant units to carry out communication and stability maintenance work for residents and businesses along the route. In particular, the pipelines beneath Tongmian Road are complex and intertwined, making relocation and protection highly difficult. Many locations lack working space. If relocation and protection work were carried out according to the normal construction schedule, it would affect the travel of residents and the normal operations of businesses along the route for a relatively long time, bringing unstable factors to society.

In order to shorten the relocation and protection time, minimize the impact on the travel of surrounding businesses and residents, and smoothly advance the Tongmian Road project, since the project began construction, the Party General Branch Secretary and members of the Party General Branch of the Urban Investment Company have conducted on-site investigations many times. Members of the Party member commando teams of the Second and Third Party Branches, unafraid of high temperatures and severe heat and undaunted by difficulties, have convened coordination meetings on Tongmian Road pipelines with relevant pipeline units many times, extensively solicited opinions, optimized the organization and implementation plan, compressed the time to the maximum extent, and arranged for the implementation of pipeline relocation and protection work, shortening the relocation and protection workload that normally takes two months to completion in 20 days. This not only provided construction space in a timely manner for the Tongmian Road project, but also won a great deal of time for surrounding businesses and residents to resume passage sooner. Through practical actions to deliver real results for the people, it has been well received by businesses and residents along the route and by the road command headquarters.
