From now until the 27th, the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) will launch its first national-level exhibition with the features of "full industry chain, large scale, high starting point, and high quality."

In his speech, Sun Wenkui pointed out that this China Building Science Conference, themed "New Infrastructure" under the dual carbon goals, will focus on scientific and technological innovation in the building industry from aspects such as "low-carbon, livable, resilient, and smart city construction," accurately grasp the new development stage, thoroughly implement the new development philosophy, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, and promote high-quality development of the industry and region through exchanges and discussions, so as to advance innovative development of the building industry.

Academician Wang Jun delivered a speech on the theme "Some Thoughts on the Transformation and Upgrading of the Building Industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period." He emphasized that the future development trend of the building industry will inevitably be oriented toward green and smart development.

Academicians and experts including Xie Lili, Fan Weicheng, Ding Lieyun, and Xu Jian delivered speeches, held discussions, and exchanged views on topics such as "Resilience and Resilient City Construction," "Building Fire Safety and Public Safety," "Building Smart Terminals Based on Environmental Intelligence," and "General Introduction to Engineering Vibration Control Technology."

It is reported that in addition to the main venue, six sub-venues were also set up simultaneously, hosting forums on themes including urban renewal and renovation of existing buildings, design of large public buildings, and high-quality development of green buildings in the new era.

Observers believe that this conference, grounded in the new development stage, is an effort to implement the new development philosophy and build a new development pattern, as well as a concrete action to pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and will open a new chapter in the 14th Five-Year Plan.

Guided by "New Infrastructure" and focusing on frontier fields, the exhibition jointly created an important platform for the national building industry to implement the new development philosophy in new areas such as building industrialization, whole-process engineering consulting, BIM and CIM technologies, renovation of existing buildings, green building materials, green ecological cities, sponge cities, and smart cities.

The media also learned that the exhibition hall of this conference is grand in scale, with an exhibition area of 160,000 square meters, more than 500 exhibitors, and more than 150,000 visitors.
