On May 31, the cut-and-cover top-down main structure of Huaxi Park Station on Guiyang Rail Transit Line 3, constructed by China Railway First Group, was successfully completed.

Huaxi Park Station is an underground two-story, four-track, 11-meter double-island station with a total construction area of 30,004 square meters, and it will provide parallel transfer with the long-term planned Line S4. The station is located within Huaxi Wetland Park, where environmental protection requirements are high, there are many surrounding residents, and construction interference is significant. To harmonize with the surrounding environment, the project department carried out grass planting and greening at the construction site, achieving a greening rate of 59%, and nearby residents vividly call it a "garden-style subway." The completion of the main structure this time has created favorable conditions for shield tunneling through the station.
