Recently, with the convening of the first site meeting, the Changshu High-Tech Zone Interchange construction project on the Changshu-Taizhou Expressway officially commenced, and pile foundation construction is now in full swing.

The High-Tech Zone interchange is a newly built Type B single-trumpet interchange, located at the intersection of the Changshu-Taizhou Expressway and Yinhe Road in Changshu High-Tech Zone, connecting westward to Jiulong Road and forming an at-grade intersection with Yinhe Road. The new interchange features 3 entry and 6 exit toll lanes, with a one-way single-lane ramp subgrade width of 10.5 m and a two-way dual-lane ramp subgrade width of 19.5 m. Supporting facilities such as expressway toll canopies and station buildings will be implemented simultaneously.

The Changshu-Taizhou Expressway Changshu High-Tech Zone interchange project is an important component of Jiangsu Province's "1+3" functional zone strategic concept. It is also the main road ensuring external access for Changshu urban area and Changshu High-Tech Zone and driving economic development within the high-tech zone. It is a local comprehensive transportation project benefiting both the public and enterprises. Once completed, the interchange will be of great significance for optimizing the layout of expressway interchanges, improving road network connectivity, and accelerating integrated regional economic development.

It is planned to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2022!
