In the willow catkin-filled month of May, Yuchai Pile Machinery's all-new generation YCR60D small rotary drilling rig was shipped to Baiyin City, Gansu, to support the shantytown renovation project in Pingchuan District.

This renewed recognition of Yuchai rotary drilling rigs by a Gansu customer was driven by the confidence inspired by the excellent construction performance of Yuchai small rotary rigs. The small Yuchai rotary rig the customer purchased eight years ago is still in service today. It once braved high altitude, cold and oxygen deficiency to reach Nagqu City in Tibet, located on the southern slope of the Tanggula Mountains and the northern foot of the Nyainqêntanglha Mountains, where it drilled water wells for local Tibetans and helped solve their drinking water problem. In this Pingchuan District shantytown renovation project, the Yuchai YCR60D small rotary drilling rig is drilling piles with a diameter of 1000 mm and a depth of 26 m; below 2 m the pile hole passes through a sand-gravel layer, and a hole is completed rapidly within 1 hour. Its efficient and stable construction performance has drawn repeated praise from the customer.
