The January-July business briefing released today shows that in the construction business, the company's newly started area grew against the trend and orders continued to increase; in the real estate business, both sales value and sales area rose sharply.

From January to July, the company's construction business continued to see growth in new orders, with ample orders on hand. The announcement shows that the value of newly signed construction contracts was approximately 734.7 billion yuan, up 27.2% year-on-year, with 78.7 billion yuan in new orders added in July alone; the area under construction was 648 million square meters, up 22.4% year-on-year; the newly started area was 160 million square meters, up 29.8% year-on-year; and the completed area was 25.36 million square meters, up 32.7% year-on-year.

In terms of real estate sales, China State Construction showed strong growth momentum overall in the first half of the year and maintained good performance during the current peak sales season, achieving total sales of approximately 89.6 billion yuan, up 32.2% year-on-year; sales area of 7.49 million square meters, up 40.5% year-on-year; land reserves of 70.56 million square meters at the end of the period, with 5.49 million square meters of land reserves newly acquired during the period.
