On the morning of March 31, at the Jiangpu Road Station platform, the final section of steel rail for the entire line was laid, marking the short rail completion of Track Project Lot 2 of Line 18 Phase I. With this, the entire later section of Line 18 Phase I has achieved short rail completion, laying a solid foundation for the later section of Line 18 Phase I to open for operation by the end of the year.

In other news, the last rectifier transformer at Changjiang South Road Station on Line 18 was recently installed in place and successfully energized, marking that the entire later section of Line 18 Phase I has completed power supply and achieved the important milestone of “power connection,” laying the foundation for subsequent train commissioning and comprehensive drills.
